Emily's Sugar

This Louisiana bred, along with her late dam Kora, were rescued by Unbridled from a Kansas kill pen in December of 2019.

After a few months in quarantine, they became permanent residents at their forever home. Kora passed away peacefully at the sanctuary in October of 2022.

At our sanctuary, Emily is happily paired up with one of our resident geldings, Roaring Fora Price.

Emily had a shortened racing career, registering two wins and over $25,000 in earnings from only 13 lifetime starts. Both of her trips to the winner’s circle came at Louisiana Downs.
