Hawk Is Ready

This handsome Illinois-bred gelding came to our sanctuary in February of 2021, after spending some time with our friends at Galloping Out, an Illinois-based organization that strives to retrain racehorses for a secondary career.

While romping around the ranch, Hawk can be found hanging with Seattle Surprise.

Before his retirement from the track, Hawk raced at both Arlington and Hawthorne. For his short 14-start career, he hit the board five times, which included a trip to the Arlington winner’s circle.
