I Am Awesome

Awesome enjoys spending his days being one of the herd bosses, along with the resident mare Red Time Story.

He is also quite the “playboy” with the ladies and has been given the moniker, the “Hugh Hefner of the herd.”

During his time on the track, Awesome also enjoyed toying with his competition, racking up 21 wins and over $328,000 in earnings, in an astounding 114 starts.

The Florida-bred gelding closed out his racing career with a win at Turf Paradise in Phoenix on Oct. 16, 2016. Our wonderful friend and terrific supporter of Unbridled, Mary Hoffman (pictured), arranged to have him claimed out of that race, and he arrived at his forever home the following month.

Mary continues to be I Am Awesome’s financial sponsor to this day.
