Mia

Saved from a Texas kill pen, which was the final stepping stone to the slaughterhouse, Mia arrived at Unbridled Spirits in November of 2023 with her sister, Ellie. Despite being the younger of the two, Mia is more outgoing, loves attention, and is very affectionate. She is super sweet, too!

Both she and Ellie eventually attracted the attention of resident mare Rock My Socks, the protective “mother hen” to the newcomers, who are small in stature for Thoroughbreds due to their traumatic upbringings.
