To Be Famous

This mare arrived at Unbridled Spirits over three years ago from our friends at Beyond the Roses Equine Rescue and Retirement in Michigan.

As a runner, she made a trip to the winner’s circle at Fair Grounds in Louisiana in January of 2018. A leg injury, however, ended her career after only 10 starts.

"Jewel" is very sweet and is one of the first residents to greet visitors. When she’s not stretching out with the rest of the herd, she can be found close to her companion, our elder statesman, House of Words. Howie can be a bit of a curmudgeon, but is a lot happier when Jewel is around.
